Kevin Ford
![]() With more than 25 years of accounting experience, Kevin Ford is the top financial mind for Group Voyagers, Inc. (GVI), the privately held company that markets and sells the Globus family of brands within the United States. These brands include Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways.
As vice president for finance and administration for GVI, Kevin is responsible for all fiscal duties for the company, including reporting, treasury management and banking relationships, as well as all licensing and insurance matters. Though he’s been with GVI since 1998, Kevin embarked on his career journey a world away from the travel industry. Fresh out of college, his first job was at Price Waterhouse in Bridgeport, Conn., as a senior accountant. After four years there – and three years at the Continental Group, Inc. – Kevin moved to Arizona in 1986, where he became the vice president-controller for Chase Bank of Arizona. His professional journey continued in 1992 when he moved to Denver, and became the Chief Financial Officer for Omnibancorp. In 1998, he became the CFO for GVI. For Kevin, working at a travel company is a natural fit – visiting different parts of the world is one of his personal passions. To him, exploring new cultures and exotic food on business trips is a facet of his job that never gets old. Kevin holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Connecticut, as well as a M.B.A. from Arizona State University. He lives in Englewood with his wife and six children. |
