Ken Migaki
Globus’ mantra of “Every Journey Tells a Story” wouldn’t be nearly as genuine without Ken Migaki.

With more than 25 years of experience, providing companies with information technology solutions, Migaki is responsible for developing and implementing the technology services to support the Globus family’s tours – from reservation selling to reporting and document systems. He is also in charge of infrastructure services for the company including data/voice networks and systems and email as well as storage and server systems.

Prior to joining the Globus family, Migaki served for three years as chief information officer for TQ3Navigant, a travel management company specializing in corporate travel. In his role, he was responsible for developing and implementing the technology platform that connected all TQ3Navigant companies. In addition, he oversaw e-commerce, reporting and data warehouse, sales force and customer care, consolidated corporate, telephone and data networking systems.

And, for eight years, Migaki worked for JD Edwards, a leading supplier of business-to-business software and services. At JD Edwards, he held several positions including manager of Computing Services, director of Infrastructure Services and vice president of IT Infrastructure Services.

In the mid-1990s, Migaki served as director of Telecommunications, Network and PC Support for KN Energy. In this role, he was responsible for voice and data services, private microwave systems, e-mail, help desk and PC support.

Coming full circle, Migaki also began his career supporting travelers. For nine years, he served as the network planning manager for United Airlines/COVIA/Apollo Travel Services.

Migaki received his degree in electronic engineering and aerospace science from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado and his master’s degree in telecommunications from the University of Denver.
